Palatka’s Azalea Health takes the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS

Members of Azalea Health’s Palatka, Florida center accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge Thursday September 4, 2014.

The Ice Bucket Challenge is sweeping the nation as one of the most well-known charity fundraisers of all time. To date, more than $100 million has been raised by individuals and groups who contributed money themselves and/or collected pledges by friends and family.

A New Challenge Has Been Issued

Tina Kellum, Referral Specialist with Azalea Health, and organizer of the Palatka event, accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge from their sister location in Interlachen, Florida. Afterward, the group issed a challenge to the Azalea Health office in Keystone Heights. Their handwritten challenge to Keystone Heights’ Azalea Health ended with “and you have 24 hours to complete this challenge, but if it takes you a little longer we will understand.”
