Kevin E. Whitfield, PharmD – Pharmacy Resident

Kevin E. Whitfield, Pharm.D, was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He completed the 6-year Pre-Pharmacy/Pharm.D program at the Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tallahassee, FL, graduating with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2017. Since, he has worked with the Seminole Tribe of Florida in Hollywood, FL as a dispensing pharmacist. Kevin is pursuing a PGY1 to practice ambulatory care in the community with a desire to help underserved populations. Upon completion of our PGY1 program, he considers pursuing a PGY2 in either ambulatory care or psychiatry, but he also considers returning to the Seminole Tribe of Florida to practice as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist. Leisurely, Kevin loves to be with family and friends, go to the beach, travel, exercise, play sports, and volunteer. He was heavily involved in community service during his collegiate tenure and hopes to continue to make a difference in communities and lives in his post-graduate career.
