Covid-19 Testing Events

Aza Health is committed to stopping the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.  One of the biggest factors in the continued spread of the virus is the fact that people can be infected and contagious without showing any symptoms.
 

We will be holding a series of FREE testing events for our patients over the next few months to give you the opportunity to be tested whether you are showing symptoms or not.
 

We will be using a testing kit for these events that is not as uncomfortable as the nasopharyngeal swab and does not keep you from eating or drinking before the test like the throat swab.  The test does use a nasal swab, but the test allows you to collect the sample yourself under the supervision of AH clinical staff and only requires you to insert the swab until the tip is not visible.  This is the same test kit we use with our employees.

On Saturday, ^{December 19th} we will be testing from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at our Palatka office (1302 River St.).

No appointments are needed for these events – first come, first served. If you are currently showing COVID-19 symptoms, please don’t wait for a testing event.   AH patients can be tested at any AH medical office during regular office hours.  Please call for an appointment.  To ensure the safety of patients and staff, COVID testing is typically performed in the parking lot.
